Abstract artist Marc Chagall
is considered one of the most important painters of the 20th
century. Born in Russia in 1887, he painted in both Paris and
Russia. His paintings are known for religious themes, bright
colors and a dream-like quality. Chagall is also known for his
stained glass windows.
